With quizzes, instructors can customize how they want their students to be tested. Instructors have the options to: display quiz instructions, control how quizzes are graded, shuffle the order of questions, enable the review of a quiz, set the score for a passing score percentage, the number of attempts a student has to take the quiz, and whether or not the quiz will expire on a specific date. Instructors can also choose to display the score of a students quiz, display the passing score, and personalize pass/fail messages.

To add a new quiz to your course, follow these steps:

1. Click on the icon labeled, “Create a New Course Quiz” and you will be directed to a new page where you will be able to customize your quiz however you choose.

You will then be directed to this page:

By clicking on any of the highlighted boxes titled: “Instructions, Settings, Results, or Guestbook” you will be able to create a quiz customized to your choosing.
